Procrastination and a New Show

Firstly, I'd like to point out that I started thinking about this post during bio, when I most decidedly should have been paying attention to Sacco. I think that this is one of those preverbal tendencies that humans picked up at some time or another...That age old question: to do or to avoid doing? I myself have manage to acquire a whole arsenal of sites to keep me pre
occupied. It's amazing what you can spend hours not doing!
And while procrastination is admittedly not classy, here are some of the sites I use to keep me entertained:

One sentence to sum a story of some sort. Some of these are actually pretty touching and others are just hilarious:

Some of these are just so sad, it makes me happy to be me!:

This guy is an asshole...and yet I read about his life anyway:

I love this game so much! I don't understand how or when I became addicted, but it has gotten to the point where I can actually visualize tetriminos when I am not playing:

Actually, fairly hilarious I haven't been keeping up with them like I should:

I actually pay attention in biology some days; that's how I found this one:

This site has contributed to at least 80% of my procrastinating. Every page has a link to another page which has a link to another page etc. So when I start out on a page reading about the Cold War or doing a little fact finding on moral relativism...where do I find myself instead? Reading about Britney Spears or looking at summaries for an episode of Buffy:

Secondly, I've found a new show! Those of you who know me (hey ceelyn!) already know that I watch an obscene amount of television (another post perhaps) but I've just found a new show to add to my list: DOLLHOUSE.
It's so amazing because it has:

1. Eliza Dushku

2. Memory erasing

3. British people

4. evolutionary human thought segments!!

Did I mention Joss Whedon created it, as in Buffy the Vampire Slayer guy? Yeah, yet another reason to love it! Except we all know he peaked with Buffy...but still, this show is proving to be fairly entertaining. (although why he felt the need to recycle the 'watcher'  concept I have no idea) You can check it out by going here, but of course if you needed a quick info sesh you can always just use Wikipedia.

Confessions of a Creeper

Caitlyn is a creeper

This first post is dedicated to a friend of mine--her blog is here.

She's the one who inspired me to start this blog. I myself have lurked many a time on the blogs of others...and I think it might be time for me to put my opinion out there as well. That's not to say I'm not interested in what YOU have to say...on the contrary I am OH so very interested.
Starting to see why I'm a creeper?
Well, this blog will function as a diary for the most part with the occasional rant/rave about whatever comes to mind--I think for the most part I'll try and keep it light...at least to begin with. I won't bog you down with my social opinions and various conspiracy theories I've got going just yet. But this blog will be a testament to LIFE.
So, in this first post I think I'll address why this blog is called Workplace Classy. Well for starters who wouldn't want to show up to the workplace wearing this?:

EXACTLY! Nobody! Because showing up to your place of business in a sensible pencil skirt and flirty but oh so very professional button down top is so incredibly wonderful! My obsession with workplace classy items began not too long ago with a trip to the mall and a glance at a ruched top in a window. I mostly just like what it represents: Strong confident business woman walks into office with high heels and an a fierce attitude. I think I named this blog workplace classy because I want to be that person someday...I want to wear that outfit and be awesome.

Besides, classiness in the workplace is golden sunshine and rainbows!
